Gerry Frederick

Born and raised in Holt, Michigan — just outside of Lansing — Gerry Frederick has traded the Midwest winters for life on Lake Allatoona outside of Atlanta, Georgia, and by the sound of it, he's never looked back. Loyal, driven, gregarious, and deeply family-focused, Gerry is the kind of person who makes everyone around him feel welcome and taken care of. As an Account Executive, Gerry specializes in the deals that don't fit neatly inside the box. He works with mortgage brokers and lenders to close unconventional loans — self-employed borrowers, credit-challenged clients, unique property types, and non-traditional income scenarios. His gift is finding the story in the file and structuring it in a way that gets it across the finish line, even when guideline exceptions are what make the deal possible. What keeps him passionate about the work is simple — building long-term relationships and helping his clients achieve their goals. That's the whole game for Gerry. He lives by a motto that perfectly captures how he approaches every single day: life is not to arrive at your grave in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, saying — wow, what a ride. It is, without question, a philosophy he lives to the fullest. Here's a gem of a fun fact — Gerry restored a limited edition 1976 Bicentennial Correct Craft ski boat, which turns 50 years old this year. Outside the office, Gerry enjoys lake life to the fullest — boating, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his two young granddaughters, ages three and five, who are without question the highlight of his world. He shares his lake house with his wife Joni of 16 years and his two children, Tyler and Savanah — a full, warm, and lively home that perfectly reflects the man he is. Rounding out the household are two dogs with stories of their own. Allie is an 11-year-old Labradoodle who has retrieved ducks across the United States, and Daisy is a lovable mutt who wandered up to the house nine years ago and simply never left. Both are, by all accounts, exactly where they belong.
